The day after the conference, the second book of the POT-VOT project will be presented at the Publishers’ Academy. This book is not just a collection of poetry by 50 poets from all participating countries but also serves as an educational tool for teachers. It provides methodological guidelines for teaching poetry, highlighting its performative potential, interpretation, and its impact on fostering creativity and empathy among young people.
The event will be moderated by Aljoša Harlamov and will feature Miha Kovač as the organiser, along with Andreja Vidmar, Urša Streha Benčina, and Denis Škofič. They will discuss the challenges and opportunities of teaching poetry in the modern educational environment and the diverse voices that contemporary poetry brings into the classroom.
