On February 18-19, 2023, the first workshop organised under the “Poets of Today – Voices of Tomorrow ” project in Poland will take place at Wrocławski Dom Literatury, which agreed to be a partner of this event. The event will be attended by outstanding Polish poets: Maciej Bobula, Joanna Bociąg, Magdalena Kicińska, Barbara Klicka, Jakub Kornhauser, Bartek Majzel, Patrycja Sikora, Antonia Tosiek, Agnieszka Wolny-Hamkało and Urszula Zajaczkowska.
The workshops will be conducted by the artistic team of the project: Małgorzata Lebda, Weronika Murek, Rafał Siderski and Wenancjusz Ochmann (more: https://fundacja-arteria.org/artistic-team-of-the-poets-of-today-voices-of-tomorrow-project/ )
The aim of the workshops is to gather experiences about popularisation and teaching of contemporary poetry and to discuss problems and ideas, and above all to prepare further project activities to be carried out in cooperation with teachers – “Poetry Days” in schools and the Poetry Event “Discovering the poetry side of the city” in the city space.
The meeting conclusions will also be an opportunity to prepare a document for political decision-makers (“Policy proposal”), which is one of the results of the project, as well as to indicate good practices from Poland, which can be an inspiration for the development of the project also in other countries of the project partnership (Finland, Hungary, Slovenia and Serbia). These conclusions will be presented at the next project partnership meeting in Belgrade in March 2023 (project methodology).
Wrocławski Dom Literatury is the partner of this event.
